Abstract

This paper examines the relationship between digital transformation in banking and emerging cyber risks, and how these risks affect banking stability. It identifies liquidity, reputation and trust, financial costs, and systemic cyber contagion as key transmission channels. The study recommends specialized national regulatory frameworks, stronger board-level cyber governance, and security-by-design throughout the digital service lifecycle.
