This study analyzes the morphometric, geomorphological, and hydrological characteristics of the Wadi Tayyeb Al-Ism Basin in northwestern Libya using Geographic Information Systems and Digital Elevation Models. Quantitative spatial analysis was used to derive key parameters related to basin area, length, perimeter, slope, and drainage density. The basin is elongated and irregular, its drainage network has moderate to high density, and it responds rapidly to rainfall. The findings demonstrate the value of spatial technologies for understanding watershed behavior, managing water resources, and assessing flood hazards in Libya's arid and semi-arid environments.
